Precision fertilization for maximum crop yield

Arable farming companies

To apply the right nutrients for each crop, we can equip the application tanks with an NIR sensor. When filling the tank, the shares of the following substances are measured; Dry matter, Phosphorus, Nitrogen, Ammonium, and Potassium. When spreading, it can be chosen to apply based on the kilos of nitrogen or phosphate, instead of based on the number of cubic meters of manure.

2x DOUBLE TWIN SHIFT

Loonbedrijf Krans purchased a DOUBLE TWIN SHIFT. It was so well received that a second one quickly followed. “The spread of the wheels, the ease of operation, and the maneuverability of the tank appeal to us greatly. With one lever, everything can be controlled, and the tank is easy to maintain. You can fertilize more accurately with the cubic distribution. You also need less power from the tractor. With good plots and good manure, you can achieve a capacity of up to 100 cubic meters per hour,” says owner Johan Kooijker.

In 2023, Sinclair Agricultural & Recycling Services purchased a new CLAAS XERION SADDLE TRAC with KAWECO setup. The Scottish company spreads about 400,000 cubic meters of slurry and digestate annually. Previously, they did this with three trailing hose combinations. One of these combinations was replaced by a SADDLE TRAC. Especially the good experiences during the 2022 demo convinced Mr. Sinclair.
